Tak jsem se konečně dočkali, společnost Adobe nás zahrne v následujícím měsíci řadou unikátních novinek. Nás fotografy bude nejvíce zajímat fakt, že novinka Adobe Photoshop CS5 bude obsahovat řadu zajímavých a kreativních funkcí, tak abychom byli schopni obvzlášnit naše fotografie. Více se můžete dozvědět tady. Na nový CS5 se velmi těším a doufám, že si ho budu moci už brzy odzkoušet.

I consider the Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS II USM Lens to be the second most important lens in my kit with the first being a more general purpose lens in focal length range. It is not an inexpensive lens, but it is very worth the price in my opinion – and very worthy of its red ring. While this is a completely pro-grade lens, you definitely do not have to be a pro to appreciate it. Get the “II”!

In the Version 2.0.4 firmware, the following phenomena that occurred with the Version 2.0.3 firmware (which was to enhance the movie functions) have been corrected.

There was a phenomenon in which the manual recording settings made in C1/C2/C3 were changed and sound could not be recorded if manual sound recording was used in the C1/C2/C3 settings and the camera was subsequently turned off (or if Auto Power Off was activated). This does not occur in modes other than C1/C2/C3.

The Version 2.0.4 firmware includes the movie function enhancements listed in items 1 through 5 below, and also incorporates the correction listed in item 6.

Adds or changes the following movie frame rates.

NTSC:
1920×1080 : 30 fps (changed – actual 29.97 fps)

1920×1080 : 24 fps (added – actual 23.976 fps)

640×480 : 30 fps (changed – actual 29.97 fps)

PAL:
1920×1080 : 25 fps (added – actual 25.0 fps)

1920×1080 : 24 fps (added – actual 23.976 fps)

640×480 : 25 fps (added – actual 25.0 fps)

Adds a function for manually adjusting the sound recording level (64 levels).

Adds a histogram display (brightness or RGB) for shooting movies in manual exposure.

Adds shutter-priority AE mode (Tv) and aperture-priority AE (Av) mode to the exposure modes for shooting movies.

Changes the audio sampling frequency from 44.1 KHz to 48 KHz.

Fixes a phenomenon where communication between the camera and the attached lens is sometimes interrupted after manual sensor cleaning. (This phenomenon only affects units with Firmware Version 1.2.4.)

Konečně jsem se dočkal, sice už nemůžu ani psát, protože se mi zavírají oči, ale přece jen pár poznámek o víkendu. Stihnul jsem sněženky, výstavu orchidejí a zítra ještě Bavorský les. Zkusím zvládnout ještě test nového objektivu Canon EF 100/ 2.8 L IS Macro a pak už jen padnu, musím přeci jen zase trénovat, sezóna bude hodně dlouhá a náročná. Pokusím se během následujícího týdne napsat pár článků a vložit nové fotografie, mějte prosím se mnou ještě trochu strpení, přeci jen fotografická sezóna právě začíná.

Orchideje: 12. - 21. březen 2010, Skleník Fata Morgana už zase exoticky něžný, od úterý do neděle, 9 - 17 h.

V roce 2006 začala Botanická zahrada hl. města Prahy psát obnovenou tradici orchidejových výstav v Praze. V rámci 5. ročníku najdeme v Troji orchideje v přírodních i aranžérských kompozicích. Vedle přehlídky botanických i komerčních druhů orchidejí nabídne zahrada kompletní servis těm, kteří se nechají uchvátit krásou kouzelných květů a rozhodnou se stát jejich sběrateli:

prodej rostlin i potřeb pro jejich pěstování
poradenská služba

O víkendech proběhne každou celou hodinu zdarma (od 10 do 16 hodin) orchidejové provázení. Ve štole a hale skleníku Fata Morgana nás určitě dostanou kresby Inky Delevové a na cestě ke skleníku Fata Morgana tzv. Orchidejová stezka (textem komentované obrázky nejzajímavějších „špeků").
